Biangan 鞭杆


 Biangan (whip rod or short staff) Handed down by Wang Tianpeng, Luo Wenyuan and systematized by Ma Yingda. Based on Tongbei Jin concepts of throwing power and using Tongbeiquan techniques, it is most popular in North/West part of China. This class will cover Biangan Wu Yen (Five Hands Changes), Qi Shou (Seven Hands), Shi San Fa (13 Forms), which is the basic essence, and  core foundations of Biangan techniques. The class also covers whip staff-rod sequence and its applications.

Class Meets: Fridays, 8:00 – 9:00PM

Starts: October 9, 2009

Cost: $55.00/per month (CMA active members)

          $75.00/per mount (CMA non members)
