Introduction to
Curriculums
We offer
classes for kids and teens, as well as for adults. Our
school emphasizes traditional training with a modern
approach for external and internal styles.
The styles taught in our school
include the traditional
external systems of
Changquan (長拳
Long Fist) also know as Bei Quan (北拳
Northern Boxing), which include
complete training for Tongbeiquan (通備拳
Through Preparing Boxing),
covering/including four styles:
Piguaquan
劈掛拳,
Bajiquan
八極拳,
Fanziquan
翻子拳,
Chuojiao 戳腳,
also Emei system 峨嵋
is taught in our school, as well as the internal arts of
traditional Taijiquan
太極拳 (Chen 陳
and Yang
楊 styles
of Tai Chi Chuan), Xingyiquan (形意拳 Hsing I Chuan),
Baguazhang (八卦掌 Pa Kua Chang), and
Qigong (氣功 Chi Kung - for health, healing, and martial arts).
The variety of
classes offered allows the student to choose which style
suits him or her best. There is no one style that is better
than others. Here, you have a chance to explore the many
options available and choose according to your personal
taste and predisposition for the right fit. The rest belongs
to you; how successful you become is in your hands. This can
be accomplished only by hard work and dedication, along with
the help of a qualified coach with a wider range of
experience and expertise.
Less is more
– this is a very good principle for a smart and humble
student, but not for a qualified instructor or master
teacher of today’s modern professional school.
Common saying:
First learn
all the styles you can, then integrate them. Finally, find
something that suits you and then spend the rest of your
life to work on it.
...Then when you have reached to a "high level", your moves
won't reflect any styles, only yourself.
